Our focus is improving the current transition from paper processes to an electronic workflow in the accounting industry. We launched Engage in 2017, a practice compliance application that helps accounting firms automate practice compliance, CRM and risk management.
JAMES HASTINGS, President & CEO
Prior to PSC, James Hastings was the founding shareholder of the Law Offices of James Hastings, a boutique tax practice in San Francisco, California. The firm advised founders and startup companies with respect to business formation, equity structures, executive compensation and taxation.
James is a licensed CPA in California and Oregon with nearly two decades’ tax experience, first in public accounting and then as a member of the State Bar of California. He graduated the Golden Gate University School of Law LLM Taxation program and was Adjunct Faculty, Professor of Professional Responsibility for Tax Practitioners until 2018. James is certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a Certified Specialist in Tax Law.

Justin Tomich is a senior software engineer, designer, and architect with nearly three decades of experience building enterprise-scale mission-critical distributed systems using Ruby on Rails, Java, and other modern web application technologies.
RUSTY HOLDEN, Advisor
Rusty Holden is an inventor and entrepreneur in San Francisco, California, and advises scientific organizations and technology startup companies in the San Francisco Bay Area. He founded Thorenco Medical Isotopes in 2006 to produce medical isotopes for the pharmaceutical industry. Rusty is a USPTO patent holder and has been a member of the State Bar of California since 1975.
MATT RHODES, Advisor
Matt Rhodes is Vice President, Finance, for Intuit’s ProConnect Group. Prior to joining Intuit, Matt spent four years in Investor Relations at Yahoo! Inc. and, before that, worked in equity research for Banc of America Securities. He began his career in marketing at Anheuser-Busch, Inc.
Matt earned an MBA from The Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in communications from Northwestern University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and serves on the Board of Directors of the National Hemophilia Foundation.
